1 dead and 1 injured after shooting in South Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – A shooting in South Memphis left one person dead and another seriously injured.

Police responded to South Parkway East near Florida Street at 2:10 p.m. Friday.

Memphis police said a man was taken to Regional One in critical condition. He later died from his injuries.

According to police, another man was taken to hospital in a private vehicle. His condition is currently critical.
