High Ridge woman arrested for drunk driving after crash on June 20 | Accidents

A 22-year-old High Ridge woman was arrested for suspected drunken driving following a crash on Highway 67 south of Highway 32 in St. Francois County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

On Thursday, June 20, at 10:35 p.m., the woman was driving a 2014 Buick Enclave northbound when she veered off the left side of the road and struck the center barrier, causing the vehicle to catch fire, the report said.

The woman was seriously injured and taken by St. Francois County ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in southern St. Louis County.

According to a hospital spokesman, the woman was treated and released.

The woman was arrested at 11:06 p.m. on suspicion of drunken driving, the report said.

Her name will not be released unless charges are filed against her, but as of this morning, June 21, no charges have been filed against her.

According to the report, the woman was wearing a seatbelt and the vehicle was a total loss.
