ARTECHOUSE opens permanent exhibition space in Houston

ARTECHOUSE is set to unveil its new Houston venture with a new permanent art exhibition space opening on June 21st. In collaboration with NASA, the Nobel Prize Museum and Japanese artist Shohei Fujimoto, the venue aims to redefine the experience of digital art.

Located at 600 W. 6th Street in The Heights, ARTECHOUSE Houston spans 26,000 square feet and debuts three exhibitions featuring 18 installation pieces. These include cinematic experiences, laser performances, robotic installations and interactive artworks.

NASA’s “Beyond the Light” uses images from the James Webb Space Telescope and the Hubble Space Telescope for interstellar travel. The Nobel Prize Museum’s “Eternal Life” explores celestial orbits, while Shohei Fujimoto’s “Intangible Forms” uses laser, strobe and moving lights to explore how living things perceive reality.

Founded in 2015 by husband-and-wife duo Sandro Kereselidze and Tati Pastukhova, ARTECHOUSE opened its first venue in Washington, DC, in 2017, and later expanded to Miami and New York.
