Road construction project introduces nighttime lane restrictions along 204th Street

OMAHA, Nebraska (WOWT) – Officials with the Nebraska Department of Transportation say work will be taking place on a west Omaha thoroughfare starting Monday that could impact your evening or nighttime travel.

NDOT will perform pavement and shoulder repairs and seal cracks and joints along 204th Street/US 6 between Harrison Street and West Dodge Road. Starting Monday, weather permitting, various nighttime lane restrictions will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Repairs are also being completed on the Box Elder Creek Bridge and the US Highway 275 Bridge.

According to NDOT, the project is scheduled to be completed this fall.
