S. Staples Street near Curtis Clark: Traffic temporarily closed

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – South Staples Street near Curtis Clark is temporarily closed after a tractor-trailer reportedly struck a power line, causing the pole to tilt slightly and requiring a lineman to come out and make repairs.

Officials with the Corpus Christi Police Department said the line was an AT&T line and that contractors are currently on site to repair it.

Repairs are expected to be completed before 1pm.

Please avoid the area if possible.
