Teutopolis FPD responds to a multi-vehicle crash on I-70 Thursday

Effingham County, Illinois – (Effingham Radio) – From the Teutopolis Fire Protection District Facebook page:

On Thursday, 06/20/2024, at 7:14 p.m., Teutopolis with Montrose responded to a reported multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 eastbound at the 104 mile marker. This is within the ongoing construction zone.

Upon arrival, 4 semi-trucks were reported involved, no entrapments, no hazardous cargo. One driver was transported by Jasper County EMS (mutual aid).

The fire brigade cleared the fire scene at 9 p.m.
