Train service in and out of Penn Station suspended

New Jersey Transit announces that train service to and from New York Penn Station has been suspended due to problems with the Amtrak overhead line at the station.

“Midtown Direct trains will be rerouted to Hoboken. NJ TRANSIT rail tickets and passes will be honored by NJ TRANSIT and private bus operators, as well as PATH at Newark Penn, Hoboken and 33rd Street, New York stops,” the agency’s website states.
