Hoover woman killed in Birmingham shooting

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (WIAT) – A Hoover woman was killed in a shooting at a Birmingham home Thursday night.

According to Birmingham police, 26-year-old Nikita Nicole Walker was found shot to death outside a home in the 700 block of New Hill Court around 10:15 p.m.

According to police, preliminary investigations indicate that an argument broke out between a male suspect and Walker in the house and that this argument ultimately led to the suspect shooting Walker.
