THIS IS A LIVE VIEW HERE. IT’S THE SOUTHBOUND LANES NEAR I DRIVE. YOU CAN SEE THE TWO RIGHT LANES AS WELL AS THE BAND SIDES ARE CLOSED DUE TO THIS ACCIDENT. AND AGAIN, UNFORTUNATELY, IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED THAT TWO PEOPLE WERE KILLED IN THIS ACCIDENT. WE KNOW THAT THREE CARS WERE INVOLVED INCLUDING THE TREE STUMP TRUCK. FHP TELL US THAT TWO PEOPLE WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL BUT UNFORTUNATELY THEY WERE DEAD ON ARRIVAL. SO WHEN YOU GET OUT THE DOOR IT’S GOING TO TAKE A LITTLE LONG UNTIL THAT FAILS. FROM A TRAFFIC PERSPECTIVE YOU CAN SEE CARS STILL COMING BY IN THE LEFT LANE AND USING THAT EDGE AS WELL. I WOULD EXPECT THAT THERE WILL BE DELAYS HERE THROUGHOUT THE MORNING. OF COURSE WE SEE THESE SLIPPERY CONDITIONS FOR YOUR MORNING DRIVE, SO THIS IS NOT THE DAY TO BE IN A RUSH. IF YOU GET OUT THE DOOR THIS FRIDAY MORNING, I WOULD ADD MAYBE 10 TO 15 MINUTES FOR YOUR MORNING DRIVE. THIS IS THE ONLY MAJOR ACCIDENT RIGHT NOW, BUT ALSO IT’S GOING TO TAKE A LITTLE LONG TO RESOLVE ON THE SOUTH SIDE. THE NORTH SIDE IS NOT AFFECTED. I’M CHECKING THE DRIVE TIMES ON I-4. Two people have died in a crash on State Road 417. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 5 a.m. on southbound SR-417 near International Drive. Police say two people were taken to the hospital but were pronounced dead. The crash involved two cars and a dump truck. Southbound lanes are partially closed in the area. OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. —

Two people were killed in a traffic accident on State Road 417.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just before 5 a.m. on SR-417 southbound near International Drive.

According to police, two people were taken to hospital but were found dead before arrival.

Two cars and a dump truck are involved in the accident.

The southbound lanes are partially closed in the area. Drivers are passing in the far left lane and on the shoulder.
