Center Moriches man pleads guilty to repeatedly raping stepdaughter

A Center Moriches man faces 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to repeatedly raping his stepdaughter over a 10-year period.

According to authorities, the man began abusing the girl in 2014. At the time, the girl was seven years old.

The abuse ended in 2023 when the victim told her mother. Authorities say the mother caught the man shortly before he attacked the girl again.

Prosecutors said the man’s name would not be released to protect the victim’s identity. His sentence is due to be announced next month.
