The Dream play their home games at the Gateway Center in College Park, which can only seat 3,500 people for basketball. But State Farm Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks, can accommodate more than 17,000 people to play basketball.

Dream officials say they hope to make Friday night’s game and Aug. 26 the highest-attended game in franchise history.

The team said season ticket holders will have their Fever tickets moved to a comparable location on the lower level of State Farm Arena, according to a press release.

“Atlanta Dream fans are the best in the WNBA,” said Morgan Shaw Parker, Atlanta Dream President and COO. “Their passion and enthusiasm has led us to the highest number of sold-out tickets in the league over the past two years and has created a demand for tickets that far exceeds the supply in our current arena.”

Clark was the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft after having a historic college career at the University of Iowa.

The game starts at 7:30 p.m.
