Buffalo Bills urged to pull trigger on blockbuster trade for Denver Broncos All-Pro superstar

The Buffalo Bills are in the middle of a crucial offseason. This team has yet to achieve its goals last season, and it enters another year with huge expectations for this Josh Allen-led group.

The Bills have already made some significant moves this offseason, but it appears they will have to pull back if they want to attract elite talent for the upcoming campaign.

Alex Murray and Evan Burner of GiveMeSport recently put together a list of potential trade targets for the Bills this offseason. They argued that the cornerback position is a significant void that Buffalo needs to fill after their decision to part ways with Tre’Davious White.

The Bills used their sixth-round pick in the recently concluded 2024 NFL Draft to add CB Daequan Hardy, but he’s not exactly superstar material. As such, Murray and Burner believe Denver Broncos star Partick Surtain II should be seriously considered as a potential trade target for Tennessee.

Surtain, an All-Pro cornerback who made two Pro Bowl appearances during his three years in the NFL, is widely considered one of the best CBs in the game today. He also remains one of, if not the best, cornerback talents that could be available on the trade market.

“Giving up a first-round pick for Surtain II would be reasonable, but Denver is rumored to have asked for multiple first-rounders in exchange for the young corner. The Bills should actively pursue a trade for the Pro Bowl corner, but should be wary of overpaying.

“Still, Surtain II is the best cornerback the Bills could possibly add this offseason. If Buffalo is serious about improving its roster, it will need to start making big changes,” Murray and Burner wrote.

As noted above, the Titans will likely have to give up more than just one first-round pick in order to pry Surtain away from the Broncos. Denver knows what value the former Alabama player brings to the table, and they will certainly want to get the most out of him if they decide to move on from Surtain this summer.
