Coroner identifies woman killed in early morning Dorchester County shooting

DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCSC) – A woman was killed in a shooting early Thursday morning, according to the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office.

Jasmine Elizabeth Anderson died in a shooting at her home in the Dorchester Manor neighborhood, said coroner Paul Brouthers.

Investigators believe the shooting occurred around 3 a.m. The medical examiner pronounced Anderson dead at 5:16 a.m.

Brouthers said the body will be autopsied Friday at MUSC.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting. There is no information on arrests.
