TRAFFIC ALERT: 10th Avenue closed | MyStateline

ROCKFORD, Illinois (WTVO) – Starting June 20, drivers will need to find an alternate route to avoid the closure of 10th Avenue between 18th and 19th streets.

The reason for the closure is to repair the sewers. The repairs are being carried out by the Four Rivers Sanitation Authority.

Traffic control measures are in place and motorists are asked to exercise caution when driving near the construction site.

Depending on the weather, the work is expected to be completed by the end of Monday, June 24th.
