Air Quality Warning issued for Dayton, Ohio

Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) — The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) and the Regional Air Pollution Control Agency (RAPCA) have issued an air quality alert for the Miami Valley.

The warning is in effect all day tomorrow, June 21, as the air quality index is expected to reach 101.


An air quality warning is in effect for all areas of Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery and Preble counties.

According to the MVRPC, values ​​of 101 and higher are considered “unhealthy for sensitive groups.”
