Man arrested after series of crimes in Midtown, police say – 102.3 KRMG

A Tulsa man is facing a long list of charges after he attempted multiple carjackings in the area near 11th Street and Lewis around 9 a.m. this morning, according to police.

According to police, 22-year-old Anton Linder dragged the first victim out of the car with a knife, but was unable to free him because the key was not in the ignition.

According to police, he then broke into a construction trailer and tried to steal some tools, but was chased away from the scene.

Then, police said, he jumped into a woman’s car but ran away when she started screaming.

According to the police, he then jumped into another woman’s car while she was loading some things and drove away with her child in it.

According to police, she grabbed the vehicle and he dragged her a short distance before stopping and running away.

This time, however, police say, the woman’s family members chased him and subdued him in the backyard of a home near 6th and Yorktown, after which police arrived and arrested him.

According to police, Linder bit a family member, causing quite a serious injury.

Linder was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on charges of auto theft, attempted auto theft, first-degree robbery by force/fear, assault with an attempt to commit a serious felony, assault with a deadly weapon, second-degree burglary, and auto theft.
