The Lexington County coroner identifies one person dead after an early morning collision

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WOLO) – The Lexington County Coroner has identified the person who died in an early morning vehicle-pedestrian collision, the coroner’s office said.

The collision occurred around 4:24 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, on Frontage Road near Commerce Drive along westbound Exit 113 in the Cayce area of ​​Lexington County.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher says Curt Alan Davis, 49, of Cayce was crossing Frontage Road westbound at Exit 113 when he was struck by a vehicle.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the collision.

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the Town of Cayce Police Department continue to investigate the incident.
