Winning Take 5 lottery ticket sold in WNY

BUFFALO, NY — One lucky winner purchased a top prize ticket for the Take 5 Midday drawing on June 19, valued at $9,135.

The winning ticket was sold at the Tops Friendly Markets store located at 2351 Maple Road.

This win adds to the number of lucky tickets sold in Western New York so far this year. In recent months, winning tickets have been purchased in Tonawanda, Newfane and Hamburg.

The New York Lottery states that Take 5 numbers are drawn from a number field ranging from 1 to 39. If won, a game prize of any amount can be claimed for up to one year from the date the ticket was drawn.

The drawings are televised daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
