Corvallis man faces rape and sexual abuse charges stemming from alleged 2021 incident | Local

CORVALLIS, Ore. – A 22-year-old Corvallis man was arrested Monday and faces rape and sexual abuse charges stemming from an alleged incident that occurred more than two years ago, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office and the Court documents show.

BCSO officials said a deputy responded to an apartment complex in the 1100 block of SW Western Boulevard just before 9 a.m. May 6 and issued an arrest warrant for Gabriel Ryley, who had an active secret warrant for multiple charges, including rape and sexual abuse, lie. Ryley was arrested without incident and taken to the Benton County Jail where he faces charges including first-degree rape, two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, two counts of third-degree sexual abuse, interception of communications and coercion, according to the Sheriff’s officials said. Court documents indicate Ryley is accused of raping the victim between July and August 2021.

According to prison records, Ryley remains in custody as of May 8, 2024. According to court records, Ryley is scheduled to appear in court on May 14.
