Man wanted for distribution and possession of child pornography, North Carolina police say

ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC (WNCN) — A man is wanted in connection with an investigation into possession of child pornography, Roanoke Rapids police said Wednesday evening.

According to police, 27-year-old Cameron Corey Houston has arrest warrants pending extradition for 15 counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor.

According to the police department, officers received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) on May 13 that Houston was involved in the distribution and receipt of child pornography.

Late last week, police said they executed a search warrant for his home near the 1400 block of West Chaloner Drive.

Officers said Houston had already left the area when they attempted to execute the warrant.

“Houston’s whereabouts are currently unknown, but investigators have reason to believe he may be in the Northern Virginia area,” police said in a press release.
