Instagram influencer sexually assaulted in resort and other places, underwent abortion during relationship – KERALA – CRIME

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Binoy, who was arrested in the suicide case of an 18-year-old Instagram influencer, has been remanded in police custody for three days.The decision was taken by the POCSO court in Thiruvananthapuram.

Police said the girl and Binoy, who met through Instagram, were together for two years. Police told the court that she was sexually abused at a resort and at home. In the meantime, the accused also bought pills for her abortion.

The police told the court that they will have three days to conduct further investigation, find the vehicles that took the girl to many places and collect evidence from other places. Meanwhile, the defence lawyer argued that Binoy was dragged into the case to save someone else.

They separated five months ago. After that, she was abused on social media. It is said that Binoy’s boyfriend is behind it. Binoy was booked for molesting a girl below the age of 18. She was also booked under Section 312 for illegal abortion.

The girl, who was depressed after breaking up with Binoy, attempted suicide on June 10. She died on June 16 while undergoing treatment at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital. Binoy, who was arrested under POCSO the other day, was remanded by the CJM court for 14 days. Police also said that important information was received from his phone.
