One person died after colliding with a tree on White Oak Road in Wake County

GARNER, NC – One person was killed in an accident late Wednesday night in Wake County.

At around 11:52 p.m., a car crashed into a tree on White Oak Road. According to the State Highway Patrol, one person was killed in the accident.

The road was reopened before 5 a.m.

WRAL News is trying to determine what caused the accident and whether anyone else was injured.
