Elderly New York City man apparently attacked for hate crime

NEW YORK, NY— Last Thursday at approximately 11:46 p.m., a hate crime occurred in the area of ​​Lorimer and Meserole Streets, where a 41-year-old man was attacked by a group of five people. The attackers reportedly hurled anti-Semitic slurs, traffic cones and bottles at the victim. The victim sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene.

The first suspect is described as a man of around 17 years of age with dark skin and a medium build. He is approximately 1.78 m tall. He has black dreadlocks and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and red pants.

The second suspect is described as a male between the ages of 14 and 16, with medium skin tone and a slim build. He has short black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing dark clothing.

The third suspect is described as a male between the ages of 18 and 20 with dark skin and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black, gray and white sweatshirt, a white shirt, dark pants, a black and white hat and a black mask.

The NYPD is urging anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
