Madonna is facing another lawsuit over her successful “Celebration” tour – but this time it’s not just about her timing.

Some Madonna fans have already taken legal action against the Queen of Pop for her inflexible approach to stage performances after she entered the stage several hours later than announced at several shows on her recent world tour.

This time, however, it is the revealing content of the show that is causing some criticism.

Legal documents obtained by People magazine reveal that a concertgoer who attended one of Madonna’s shows in California in February was so unhappy with some of the show’s more sexually charged moments that he sued the Grammy winner and tour promoter Live Nation.

The lawsuit accuses Madonna and Live Nation of “They “intentionally and misleadingly” misrepresented the content of the show, claiming that fans were “exposed to pornography without warning” and “forced to watch topless women” and “sexual acts.”

Anyone who has followed Madonna’s career even a little over the past four decades knows that her live performances sometimes took a heated turn.

The Celebration Tour featured topless dancers of different genders during her Like A Prayer performance, while in another part of the show she and a performer dressed as her younger self reenacted the controversial “simulated masturbation” sequence from her Blonde Ambition Tour.

In the early 1990s, Madonna made headlines around the world with this part of her Blonde Ambition Tour – she was even threatened with arrest if she did not stop the offensive performance at her show in Toronto.

Madonna being Madonna, she performed the number as if it were choreographed despite the police presence, as documented in her 1991 documentary “In Bed With Madonna.”

According to People, this latest lawsuit also mentions Madonna’s lateness and the “hot and uncomfortable temperature” of the venue, accusing her of “unfair, unlawful, deceptive business practices” as well as “reckless disrespect for her fans.”

HuffPost UK has contacted Madonna’s team for comment.

The Celebration Tour ended after almost seven months with a one-off show in Brazil in early May.

Madonna’s free concert in Brazil was attended by more than 1.6 million people, making it the highest attendance ever for a stand-alone concert or for a female artist in music history.

The “Vogue” singer’s tour was supposed to start much earlier in 2023, but was postponed after she contracted a life-threatening “bacterial infection” that put her in intensive care.
