A man killed in a shooting in Kearney, Missouri, has been identified — and his wife is facing charges. Ricky Allen, 50, died June 18 in the 16200 block of Kountry Ridge Drive. His wife, Melissa I. Hoffner-Allen, is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says she is being held on $250,000 bail. Officers arrested the suspect at the scene.

KEARNEY, Missouri —

A man killed in a shooting in Kearney, Missouri, has been identified – and his wife is facing charges.

Ricky Allen, 50, died June 18 in the 16200 block of Kountry Ridge Drive.
