Police respond to incident on Kings Island

MASON, Ohio (WDTN) – Mason Police and Fire Departments responded to an incident in Kings Island on Wednesday.

According to a press release from the City of Mason, police responded to a call related to the Banshee ride in Kings Island. A person was found on the ground in one of the restricted areas.


A critically injured 38-year-old man was found within the exclusion zone. He was transported to UC West Chester and then flown by helicopter to UC Main Campus for treatment.

This incident is currently being investigated by the Mason Police Department in coordination with Kings Island.
