Traffic and lane closures following an accident on Route 33

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A crash occurred on Route 33 westbound near the Grider Street exit in Buffalo around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday evening, according to NITTEC.

Crews closed two left lanes to respond to the crash, causing heavy traffic.


As of 10:54 p.m., NITTEC said the accident had been resolved.

A News 4 photographer visited the scene and saw crews towing a vehicle.

News 4 has reached out to officials for more information and is awaiting a response.
