NAPD: Man found dead in apartment, 1 taken into custody

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – New Albany Police (NAPD) is investigating the death of a man Wednesday.

Police Chief Todd Bailey said officers were called to the 3400 block of Greenview Drive shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday for a possible homicide.

This is near Green Valley Road.

When they arrived, Bailey said, they found a dead man inside the house. They also found another man there and took him into custody.

He said there was no threat to public safety.

According to Bailey, the NAPD Criminal Investigation Division is working on the case with assistance from the Indiana State Police.
