Man allegedly sexually abused five-year-old

Drew Gregory Burnaugh of Anamosa, Iowa, is charged with second-degree sexual abuse. Under Iowa law, the charge is a Class B felony punishable by 25 years in prison, 70% of which, or 17 ½ years, must be served before parole is eligible.

According to the arrest affidavit, Burnaugh’s partner was babysitting the then five-year-old victim on June 1, 2018.

Burnaugh removed the victim’s pants and underwear and sexually abused the child.

Burnaugh was arrested on Monday.
