Host Rob Schmitt collapses over Buffalo Bills’ sponsorship of Gay Sports League

Newsmax Host Robert Schmitt lost it Wednesday night after hearing about a gay flag football league sponsored by the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.

On Tuesday, the Bills released a statement saying the franchise is “proud to support the National Gay Flag Football League (NGFFL) with a sponsorship to launch a chapter in Buffalo.”

Such sponsorships are not unusual, especially in June, Pride Month. However, many right-wingers were very angry online about the announcement. During Wednesday Rob Schmitt tonightthe host appeared both incredulous and discouraged during a segment titled “News from the Left.”

“And finally, when you thought you could escape all the Pride Month propaganda by watching football, apparently not,” Schmitt said, speaking at a time when the NFL regular season doesn’t begin until Sept. 5 . NFL franchise supporting a new National. Gays. Flag. Football League! What?!”

The host noted that other teams such as the New York Giants, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and Washington Commanders have also sponsored the flag football league.

“I, I, I literally just asked the producers,” an annoyed Schmitt continued. “I asked myself, ‘Are we sure this isn’t some sort of fake Babylon Bee story?’ There is a National Gays Flag football league now. For what? Why, is the question I ask so often in this country.

Schmitt then lowered his head, rubbed his right eye and said, “I have to go find my own country.” »
