Memorial Aquatic Park in Pasco closed due to “critical incident”

PASCO, Wash. – Pasco Parks & Recreation says Memorial Aquatic Park will be closed for an extended period of time due to a “recent critical incident.”

All park activities including swim lessons, recreational summer swim team and open swim sessions through Friday, June 21 are canceled. Out-of-town practices for Channel Cats and Atomic Swim Teams will resume on Thursday, June 20.

The City of Pasco says the closure will allow time to review safety procedures and support staff.

Missed classes will be rescheduled for Friday, June 28. Anyone with concerns is asked to contact the city at 509-545-3456 or [email protected].
