Man arrested in Eureka County on child endangerment and other charges

EUREKA COUNTY, Nev. (KOLO) – A man was arrested in Eureka County on charges of child endangerment, breach of peace, harassment and resisting a public official.

The Eureka County Sheriff’s Office said it was called to a residence on Monday for a civilian’s alert. When they arrived, officers said they heard a man and a woman screaming and yelling.

After making contact with the inmates, they discovered that the suspect, Aitor Eskandon, was drunk.

Officers responding to the incident attempted to calm him down several times, but Eskandon allegedly pushed one of the ECSO officers on scene and was taken into custody after a brief physical altercation with officers.
