School janitor arrested for indecent behavior toward minors

FERRIDAY, Louisiana (KNOE) – A school janitor was arrested for indecent behavior toward minors.

On June 17, the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Cybercrime Unit began investigating 37-year-old Cody Allen Talley. Investigators communicated online with Talley, who was posing as a minor, and the conversation soon turned sexual. According to authorities, Talley engaged in “lewd conversations” and demanded photos of the alleged minor.

Investigators later discovered that Tally was employed as a school janitor by the Lafayette Parish School Board. CPSO officers then coordinated with the Carencro Police Department and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office and Tally was taken into custody.

Tally was charged with indecent conduct with a minor and is scheduled to be extradited to Concordia Parish.
