Death investigation in Lancaster County

PARADISE, Pa. – A Lancaster County man died Wednesday morning after being hit by a car, authorities said.

The body of 44-year-old Jason Lutz of Kirkwood was found lying in the driveway near the parking lot of an office building on South Belmont Road in Paradise Township shortly after 6 a.m., according to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.

Initial investigations revealed that Lutz’s body showed signs of physical trauma caused by the collision with a motor vehicle. However, the cause and manner of death will be determined only after an autopsy, the medical examiner’s office said.

The incident remains under investigation by police.
