Harvard man arrested and sentenced by SWAT team after November domestic violence incident | Idaho

MOSCOW – The 47-year-old Harvard man who was arrested by a SWAT team last fall over a domestic violence incident has been convicted.

Adam Long was sentenced to three years’ probation Tuesday by Latah County Second District Court Judge John Judge. Long had previously pleaded guilty to aggravated domestic violence. He was arrested in November after threatening a woman with a knife and shooting her tire as she tried to leave his home. A SWAT team arrested Long the next morning at his home north of Harvard on State Highway 6. He spent 22 days in jail after his initial arrest.
