Man from Rome arrested for motorcycle accident, leaves the scene

Stanley Craig Brown, 57, of Rome, was sentenced to prison for an accident that seriously injured a motorcyclist.

Brown reportedly crossed the motorcycle’s path at Redmond Circle, causing a collision between the motorcycle and his car.

Brown is subsequently accused of leaving the scene of the accident without checking on the driver.

The motorcyclist reportedly suffered injuries to his hand, foot, spine and sternum. Due to the injuries, the victim had to undergo several surgeries and plan for a lengthy hospital stay.

Brown is charged with serious personal injury by traffic accident, reckless driving, failure to yield the right of way, driving without insurance and driving without a license.
