Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah stressed in a televised address on Wednesday the significant role played by the Lebanese Support Front in the war against Gaza in the face of Israeli occupation.

“The fighting on the Lebanese front played a very significant role, inflicting material, moral and psychological losses on the enemy,” he stressed during the memorial service for senior Hezbollah leader Hajj Taleb Abdullah and his companions, who were martyred a few days earlier in an Israeli attack in southern Lebanon.

He questioned the portrayal of events on the southern front, saying the intensity of the Israeli response indicated a more serious situation. “If what is happening on the southern front is a routine matter, then why these strenuous efforts to stop it, and why all the shouting, intimidation, wailing and threats?” he asked.

Sayyed Nasrallah also mentioned the potential for further escalation, noting: “The possibility of an invasion of al-Jalil remains if the confrontation escalates.”

Regarding Israeli casualties, the resistance leader accused the Israeli occupation of concealing its losses in the north. “The enemy is concealing its losses on the northern front, but it cannot conceal the number of those who have left their settlements,” he claimed.

He criticized the global media’s portrayal of the war, saying: “Since the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, there has been a global media machine whose mission is to denigrate the actions of the support fronts and the resistance in Gaza.”

Sayyed Nasrallah reiterated that the Israeli occupation is deliberately covering up its losses in the north to avoid further pressure. He gave concrete figures on the evacuations and stressed that “42 settlements have been completely evacuated and life has come to a standstill in several others.”

In addition, he stated that Israel’s military and security image is deteriorating. “The enemy’s daunting military-security image is collapsing before the eyes of its people, its society and the world,” he concluded.

Increasing losses

“They have failed to protect Israeli ships, which represents a huge failure of the two most important naval fleets in the world, especially the American fleet,” the Hezbollah leader stressed.

Sayyed Nasrallah drew two conclusions from the front in Yemen: “First, the American-British failure and second, the Israeli inability to fight on this front.”

He criticized the Israeli occupation forces’ pursuit of false victories, stating: “The enemy is hungry for a false and fabricated victory that has no basis in reality, just to present it as a victory to his listeners.”

The Hezbollah leader stressed that the Israeli occupation forces had suffered significant losses in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as in Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq.

“The enemy knew since October 8 that his positions would be attacked and that we had enough intelligence about him, his fortifications, his equipment and his numbers,” he said. “We continue to attack enemy positions within a specific and precise timetable,” he explained.

Sayyed Nasrallah explained the resistance’s strategy of “blinding” and “deafening” the Israeli occupation. “The resistance followed the strategy of blinding the enemy and deafening his ears by targeting technical devices, radars, balloons and more,” he explained.

Operation Hoopoe

“We have a very, very, very large amount of information, and yesterday’s release is a selection from many hours about Haifa,” he stressed about the military media of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah released footage on Tuesday showing its reconnaissance drones flying over large parts of the occupied Palestinian territory, including Kiryat Shmona, Nahariya, Safad, Karmiel, Afula, all the way to Haifa and its port.

In detail, the video first shows Hezbollah drones flying over a Rafael Advanced Defense Systems military-industrial complex, which includes numerous factories, warehouses and test fields where components of air defense systems are manufactured and assembled, notably the Iron Dome and David’s Sling.

The video shows the Iron Dome and David’s Sling platforms, the test tunnel and depot for rocket engines, the depot for anti-aircraft missiles, the production facilities for rocket components, the factories for control and guidance systems, the company’s administrative buildings and radar equipment for rocket tests.

“We have hours of footage from Haifa and its surroundings, covering the north of Haifa, the rest of the world and everything beyond Haifa,” said Sayyed Nasrallah.

“We have developed our weapons, deployed new ones and are keeping more weapons ready for the next few days to defend our country, our people and the sovereignty of Lebanon,” he explained. “We have only fought with some of our weapons so far and have received new weapons that we will not disclose. This will be shown on the battlefield.”

Sayyed Nasrallah also stressed that the resistance has unprecedented troop strength.

He addressed the actions of the Israeli occupation in Syria, saying they had failed. “The enemy fought a battle in the middle of the war in Syria and failed. Everything that was supposed to reach Lebanon has arrived,” he noted.

Hezbollah well equipped

“The enemy knows well that we have prepared for the worst days and knows what awaits him. That is why he has been deterred for the past 8-9 months,” said Sayyed Nasrallah. He stressed that no place in occupied Palestine is safe from Hezbollah’s rockets and drones. “The enemy knows that there will be no place safe from our rockets and drones, and (our attacks) will not consist of indiscriminate bombings.”

Nasrallah claimed that Hezbollah has a comprehensive and real target pool that can reach all targets, which destabilizes the basis of the Israeli occupation. He also warned: “The enemy knows that a lot awaits him in the Mediterranean as well.”

“The enemy knows to reckon with us on land, in the air and at sea, and if war comes, the Resistance will fight without constraints, rules or restrictions,” he explained.

In a strong statement, he warned the Cypriot government against making its airports and bases available to the Israeli occupation. “The Cypriot government should be warned that if it opens its airports and bases to the enemy to attack Lebanon, it will become part of the war.”

Sayyed Nasrallah described the ongoing confrontation as the biggest battle since 1948 with a clear and bright horizon that will change the face of the region and shape its future.

Finally, he reiterated Hezbollah’s steadfastness and readiness to fight this historic battle until victory. “We reaffirm the firmness of our position and our readiness to maintain this historic, humanitarian and moral stance until victory,” he concluded.
