An investigation into the death was launched after the body was discovered at Lowe’s in Scott County

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Authorities have launched a death investigation after a body was discovered at a Lowe’s store in Georgetown this morning.

Georgetown police reported that the body was found in a black SUV parked at the Lowe’s location in Georgetown. There are currently no signs of foul play suspected in connection with the incident. Police say the SUV had been parked at the location for about a week before it was discovered.

The identity of the deceased person has not yet been released by authorities. The investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
