Brooklyn man arrested after drug investigation in Queensbury

QUEENSBURY, NY (NEWS10) — A Brooklyn man was arrested Tuesday following a drug investigation in Queensbury. Gregory Nelson, 41, is charged with several counts.

On Tuesday, police received information about a possible drug sale at a Queensbury hotel. Through surveillance, officers identified Nelson as the suspect.


After further investigation, state troopers stated that Nelson had multiple warrants out of Washington County. Nelson was taken into custody and upon arrest, troopers found drug paraphernalia, a large sum of money, and narcotics packaged for sale, including heroin and crack cocaine.

Fees:

  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (six counts)
  • Second degree crime involving the use of drug paraphernalia

Nelson was transported to the Queensbury State Police where his case was processed. He was arraigned in Warren County Centralized Arraignment Part Court and remanded to Warren County Correctional Facility without bail.
