2 people arrested after traffic stop with loaded handguns in Madera, police say | YourCentralValley.com

MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two people were arrested for weapons possession following a traffic stop in Madera Wednesday morning, according to Madera police.

Police said they conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of G and 4th Street and found that the driver, 27-year-old Johnathan Garcia, and his passenger, 18-year-old Matthew Garcia, were carrying illegally loaded handguns.

According to police, both were arrested for weapons possession and taken to the Madera County Jail.
