Court sentences West Bank men to 3.5 years in prison for attacks on Palestinians

The Lod District Court sentenced 26-year-old Hanoch Akiva Rabin to three and a half years in prison and 22-year-old Raz Haim Geron to three years in prison for racially motivated assault and assault with aggravating circumstances, as well as intentional damage to property, Ynet reported.

The two are residents of Givat Ronen in the West Bank. They attacked a Palestinian family shopping at a supermarket in Huwara with axes and stones and damaged their vehicles while chanting “Death to Arabs”.

In addition to their prison sentence, the two must pay NIS 45,000 in damages to the Palestinian family.
