Houston Police Arrest Suspect for Drunk Driving with Child Passenger | Texas

Houston, TX — Deputies from Officer Mark Herman’s office arrested a man for driving while intoxicated with a child passenger on June 15, 2024.

Deputies responded to the 22900 block of River Birch Drive after receiving reports of a man passed out in a vehicle that was in a moving lane of traffic. When they arrived, they found the driver, identified as Enroy Levy, asleep at the wheel with an 11-year-old child in the vehicle.

Levy exhibited multiple signs of intoxication and after administering standardized field sobriety tests, deputies confirmed he was driving while intoxicated. Child Protective Services was notified and the child was released to a guardian who arrived on scene.

Levy was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on charges of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger. His bond and court information was not available.
