Another large fire burns in Buffalo, New York

As the summer heat hits here in Western New York, firefighters have been busy battling various fires at some historic locations in Buffalo.

The heat index will approach or exceed 100 degrees over the next few days and an already difficult job will be even worse. However, the women and men of local fire departments and companies are prepared and ready.

While people were still talking about the recent fire at The Old Pink, another fire occurred in the city of Buffalo this week.

Channel 4 in Buffalo reports that a major fire has broken out in the Cobblestone neighborhood near downtown Buffalo.

The hard work of Buffalo firefighters helped prevent the fire from spreading and affecting more of the historic district.

As for the heat and humidity, it will be another scorching heat and difficult for those who need to wear protective clothing to fight these fires.
