Arroyo Grande police officers arrested a man for domestic violence in the 700 block of Elm Street Tuesday morning

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. – Officers with the Arroyo Grande Police Department (AGPD) arrested a 22-year-old man for aggravated domestic violence in the 700 block of Elm Street in a parked RV at approximately 10:06 a.m.

According to AGPD, AGPD officers learned that the victim was in the RV with the suspect and her four children when he attacked her during an argument.

The woman was able to escape with three of her children, but left a toddler behind when she fled to a local store before officers targeted the suspect at the RV and Child Protective Services assisted the children, AGPD said.

The 22-year-old man was arrested and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of willful injury to a child and physical assault on his spouse/partner, the AGPD said.
