Texas police arrest man wanted for bank robbery with child in tow

A man who allegedly robbed a bank in Texas with a small child in tow has been arrested by the FBI.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department and the Dallas Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), 44-year-old Ronnie Newman was arrested by police on Monday in Mineral Wells, Texas.

The investigation was completed after Newman arrived at the First Convenience Bank branch inside the Walmart store in Fort Worth on June 6 with a small child.

According to the FBI, the small child was sitting on a shopping cart when Newman handed cashiers a note demanding cash.

After the cashier handed over the money, the suspect pushed the child in the shopping cart toward the exit.

He then carried her out the door and stole an unknown amount of cash.
