THE SHERIFF TELLS 40/29 NEWS THAT DEPARTMENTS WERE CALLED TO THE BUSINESS AROUND 6 PM. UPON ENTERING, DEPARTMENTS FOUND TWO DEAD EMPLOYEES, BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN MURDERED. AGENTS WITH THE OKLAHOMA STATE BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION ARE ASSISTING THE ONGOING MURDER INVESTIGATION. THEY ARE STILL ON SITE FOR THE TIME. MORE INFORMATION

Two people were found dead in a store near Gans on Highway 64

According to Sequoyah County Sheriff Larry Lane, a double homicide investigation is underway after two people were found dead at a store near Gans on Highway 64 in the county. Lane told 40/29 News that officers were called to the store around 6 p.m. Tuesday night. When they arrived, they found two dead employees who were believed to have been murdered. Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are assisting with the ongoing homicide investigation. They are currently still on scene. More information about the incident and a possible suspect will be released soon, Lane said.

Lane told 40/29 News that officers were called to the business around 6 p.m. Tuesday night. When they arrived, officers found two dead employees who were believed to have been murdered.

Agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are assisting with the ongoing murder investigation. They are currently still on site.

More information about the incident and a possible suspect will be released shortly, Lane said.
