Suspect in Wayne County murder investigation in custody

WAYNE COUNTY, Mississippi (WDAM) – The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspect in connection with a homicide investigation.

On Monday, 52-year-old John Harris Walker Jr. was found dead shortly before 2 p.m. in the Beat Four community in Wayne County.

Sheriff Jerry Mosely says a suspect is in custody but no charges have been filed.
