Okmulgee County officials ask for assistance in murder investigation

Okmulgee County officials are asking the public to come forward after a man was found dead in the road last week.

They say Allen Wright Junior was shot in the head and chest and was found on June 12 on 100 Road off Highway 16 near Beggs.

Officers shared these images in the hopes that people who saw Wright Junior that day or saw people or vehicles in the area will call officers.
