Missing Vermont man found dead in Connecticut River

State police are investigating after a Vermont man who was reported missing in early June was found dead. Police said Gerard Poulin, of Barnet, was last seen in the area of ​​Comerford Dam Road on June 3. His disappearance was not considered suspicious at the time, but there were concerns for Poulin’s welfare. On Tuesday, members of the New Hampshire Fish & Game found Poulin’s body in the Connecticut River in Monroe, New Hampshire. State police are investigating how Poulin died. His body was taken to the New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner’s office in Concord for an autopsy.
