Investigation underway after person found dead near East Fletcher Avenue

An investigation is underway in Hillsborough County after a person was found dead near the 2200 block of East Fletcher Avenue Tuesday morning, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday afternoon.

A press release said officers were called to the area at 10:13 a.m. “due to a possible deceased person.” Officers confirmed someone had died when they arrived at the scene.
